Seriously, buckle up, this is going to be a bumpy ride.

Join 5 college students as they embark on a seemingly normal bus trip. Add in a plethora of strange incidents, rocky relationships, no cell service and we're in for a strange ride. But nothing is quite as strange as the disappearance of that bus five days after it departs from the school. With no leads and an investigation that seems to be running dry, one student will do whatever it takes to find out where the bus is and what happened to the people on it.

Episode 1

As the bus ventures deeper into its journey, a mechanical disruption causes a chain of events that threaten the group's patience and safety. Meanwhile, Mara continues to unfold her side of the story.

As Eve and Neil try to make sense of their surroundings, Frankie and Hector theorize as to what's really going on. Meanwhile, Mara's interview brings up ghosts from the past.

After a series of confrontations and navigation issues, things on the bus go from bad to worse. Meanwhile, Hector discovers the reality of the situation and fights to gain control.

Our characters take a trip to the past to uncover the roots of their predicament. Meanwhile, a struggling company takes drastic steps to solve its financial situation.

In this penultimate episode, our characters band together to begin untangling the web they've uncovered.
Episode 8
In this final episode, our characters take the fight to their adversaries and risk everything to bring life back to normal.
The Cast

Alyssa Haagenson
Writer, Director, Producer, Margo
Alyssa is a media production student at the University of Mary in Bismark. She loves creating every element of the story from the first draft to the audio edits. In addition to writing The Bus, Alyssa has written two unpublished thriller novels. When she isn't creating, Alyssa enjoys reading, eating wheat thins, and hanging out with Jesus. She is the editor and producer of The Bus and The Better Woman Podcast, and the writer of The Bus.
Katherine Leiseth
Grace Ingram
Katherine is an aerospace engineering student at Iowa State. She was very active in theater throughout her adolescence and is happy to be stretching her acting muscles in this audio project. When she's not designing spaceships and performing, Katherine enjoys hanging out with family and friends, as well as solving complicated math problems.


Josie Cass
Frankie Davison
Josie is a Musical Theater student at UTA and is always excited to perform in any medium. She especially loves the emotional scenes and getting to perform with old friends. Her love of choreographing and dancing is rivaled only by iced coffee.
Audrey Haugen
Eve Macintosh
Audrey is a speech pathology student at Minnesota State University Moorhead. She loves performing and you may remember her as Beth in the FMCT musical, Little Women. In addition, she enjoys being with loved ones, shopping, and excruciating online workouts.


Alex Seigel
Hector Wilkinson
Alex is a marine biology student at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He is also an avid photographer and loves to create all sorts of media.
Janelle Cass
Mara Rhodes
Janelle is a Senior at Moorhead High School and is looking forward to a future filled with books. She enjoys all types of performing but would really prefer to be at home with her dog reading a good book. If you have any book recommendations for Janelle, she is always looking.


Levi Richey
Neil Walsh
Levi is a student at the University of Texas at Arlington studying Musical Theatre. This is his first opportunity to work on an audio drama and he has greatly appreciated the experience. He most recently played William Barfee in Richland High Schools production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and is eager to see what opportunities await following the pandemic.
Marcus Hart
Damon Fuller
Marcus is a student at Davies High School and is involved in musical theater and basically any acting performance opportunity. You may remember him as the scarecrow in Gooseberry Park Payer's production of The Wizard of Oz

Tess is currently a sophomore at the University of North Dakota and is majoring in elementary education. She was involved actively in theatre throughout middle and high school and has loved being able to come back to the acting world! Beside theatre, her hobbies include dance, napping, and playing with her puppy Stella
Hannah Leiseth
Rose Ingram, soundtrack
Hannah is a senior at Moorhead High School and spends her time playing the Cello and demonstrating her perfect pitch. She is excited to perform with her sister in this project!
